YOUR 2022-23 UNION FEES TAX Figure

One of your many benefits of being union-strong is a tax deduction for your 2022-23 union fees.

For those who have paid union fees between July 1 2022 and June 30 2023 …

If you pay by credit card, debit card or direct deposit:

Information about how to access your 2022-23 union fees tax figure will be emailed out to your primary email address after July 7 so please keep a look out for it.

If you pay by payroll deduction:

Your 2022-23 union fees tax figure will be available in the payment summary your employer must provide you with after June 30 (and generally arrives about a week to a fortnight later). For those signed up to www.my.gov.au, the payment summary will also be available in your MyGov account.

In both of the above cases, the figure you receive (either accessed through the email or in your payment summary) will be the only figure or documentation you will need to claim a union fee tax deduction.

It’s important we have the right details for you – if you have changed email addresses recently update your details HERE to make sure we send you the information you need.
