SA MPS - END HEALTH WORKER CAR PARKING FEES!

tell SA MPS: ESSENTIAL WORKERS NEED TO GET TO WORK!

The SA Government needs to listen!

After meetings with SA Health Minister Chris Picton and with the Department of Health, health workers’ pleas to not introduce car parking and public transport fees for low paid health workers continue to be disregarded.

The Department of Health is ignoring health workers’ serious concerns and plan to introduce parking fees as soon as August 11.

With rising cost of living pressures, the parking charges of up to $1300 per year will have a significant impact on already stretched budgets.

And as COVID remains in the community, the original reason for free parking – to keep the health system running smoothly – remains in place.

Keep the pressure on SA Health and the SA Government.

Send an email to SA Government MPs to ensure all politicians know why health workers deserve free car parking and public transport.

Email SA Government MPs and let them know essential workers who care for those in our community should be cared for too!
