Right now, workers are struggling

Our Letter to FWC

TO: Fair Work Commission

Workers’ wages are going backwards. As rent, groceries and petrol continue to increase, so should our pay. We need a 6% increase to minimum and award wages to ensure workers can get ahead – right now we’re struggling to keep our heads above the water.

Every year, leading up to June, the Fair Work Commission reviews the minimum wage and Award wages of close to three million workers. And every year, big business demands a wage cut.

But we know the truth – healthy wages are good for working people and good for our economy. We also know that when we raise wages at the bottom, everyone benefits because it means union members everywhere can push for more. A rising tide lifts all boats.

Now’s the time to unite and demand a real increase to the minimum wage for ALL workers on Award wages. It’s time to tell our stories and speak together with a voice so loud we cannot be ignored.

Show your support for a 6% increase to minimum and Award wages and share your experience today.

Around $ 0 more per week for full-time workers

Make it impossible to ignore

Wages aren’t keeping up with the cost of living.
