Across the country we work in warehouses and distribution centres, picking and packing the items you buy at the store. Our work is physically demanding but out of sight for most people. Technological developments give employers the tools to constantly speed up our work which can create safety hazards. We stick together to keep our workplaces safe and ensure all workers, regardless of their employment status, get a living wage and are treated with respect at work.
United Workers Union is our union for supermarket supply chain, cold storage, third party logistics and warehouse workers in Australia.

A brighter Future for women
AustralianSuper is hosting a webinar during March to coincide with International Women’s Day.
The webinar is called A brighter future for women, and will cover:
- The super gender gap
- Important things you mightn’t know about super
- Tips to take control of your super
- Ways to grow your super and where benefits may exist
This webinar will run for 30 minutes, followed by 15 minutes for dedicated Q&A with an AustralianSuper Education Manager.
There are 4 March sessions available, which anyone is welcome to attend:
- Wednesday 8 March, 12pm (AEDT) / 9am (AWST)
- Wednesday 15 March, 7pm (AEDT) / 4pm (AWST)
- Thursday 16 March, 1pm (AEDT) / 10am (AWST)
