About the training:
UWU First Nations Leadership and Development Officer, Wayne Costelloe, will be running the UWU FIRST NATIONS LEADERSHIP PROGRAM (FNLP) – a two-day program designed to identify First Nations member leaders and future delegates.
The course is intended to empower First Nations leaders to grow the union, and an important step to increase the engagement of First Nations members in UWU.
It will run in the Kimberley on 25-26 October (either Broome or Fitzroy Crossing – to be confirmed, depending on interest), and in Perth 31 Oct – 1 Nov.
Please promote the program and distribute the relevant flyer (click here to download the Kimberley flyer / click here to download the Perth flyer) with any First Nations members. Members can register online through the QR code on the flyers, or using the links on this page.
We will also look to run the training again in the Pilbara region in 2023.
