Meet your delegates
Your WA Paramedic and Ambulance Officer Union Delegates
Union delegates are at the heart of the way we work. They are union leaders in your workplace and are your first point of contact for information and advice. They volunteer their time and their knowledge to support you in your workplace.
Delegates are union members who are supported by the union to:
- help resolve workplace issues
- provide information and advice to members
- encourage their colleagues to join the union
- support campaigns for fair, safe and flexible workplaces
- represent their colleagues with individual matters
- participate in bargaining
- meet fortnightly to raise matters on behalf of members
UWU understands what health professionals like Paramedics, Ambulance Transport Officers, Communication Officers and First Aid Trainers need from the union representing them, because we are led by your Delegates and our members.
